NCF-2005 does not emphasize on enhancing upper primary students’ understanding of printed text in the form of heading, paragraph and horizontal lines for teaching English. NCF-2005 rather focuses on using a suitable dictionary for vocabulary enrichment, enabling students to measure their individual responses, and managing learning objectives to assess their self-progress and revise their own work.
