India’s state–owned Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) will upgrade the Swedish 155–mm Bofors Howitzer under the project ‘Dhanush’. The Dhanush project was launched in 2011 and the first prototype was manufactured in 2014. It will be produced at OFB’s Jabalpur Gun Carriage Factory in India.
