Kottakkal Sivaraman is associatedwith Kathakali. Kathakali is the classical dance-drama of Kerala. Kottakkal Sivaraman evolved into a performer and began his performance career with the PSV Natya Sangham, the Kathakali troupe at Kottakkal in North Central Kerala's Malappuram district.
