Section 9 of The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 fix the time limit for filing a complaint of sexual harassment at the workplace.
Such complaint has to be filed within 3 months of the incident with respective internal complaints committee or the local complaints committee.
However, any woman is unable to find the complaint herself due to medical or any other reason, her legal heir can file a complaint on her behalf.
