Statement a is correct. Tattvabodhini Patrika promoted a systematic study of India's past in the Bengali language. On 6 October 1839 Debendranath Tagore established Tattvaranjini Sabha which was shortly thereafter renamed the Tattwabodhini (Truth-seekers) Sabha.
