(d) In a food chain, man is primary as well as secondary consumer.Food chain refers to the system of an ecosystem, where one organism eats another and then is eaten by another organism. Primary consumers are called herbivores(plant-eaters). Secondary consumers eat primary consumers.They are carnivores (meat-eaters)and omnivores (animals and men that eat both animals and plants).
