In order to get free Wi-Fi connectivity from the Government of India, the following conditions must be satisfied by a railway station.
(i) Everyday at least 10,000 passengers travel from there.
(ii) It should be spread over an area of at least 2 kilometers.
(iii) Network speed must be above 5 KB per second.
(iv) The network engineer must be present at the station.
In the case of a station which satisfies all other conditions, except
A. (i) Above, if the number of arrival and departure of trains per day is more than 20, the station will get Wi-Fi connectivity.
B. (ii) Above, but permission will be given after 6 months.
