71 - 75: Read the following passage. Answer the five questions given below.
Long ago, people had idea that death was like along sleep. But a sleeping person breathes, his heartbeats, he moves, he dreams and he will react to a touch or a face. A dead person none of these things.
When a person dies, his heart stops, beating, breathing stops and the dead person no longer reacts orresponds. After death, body temperature dropped quickly and the skin feels cold to touch. The blood settlesand may appear as bluish patches under the skin. Several hours later the muscles contract and the bodystiffens this condition is known as Rigor mortis. Later still, the dead muscles relax and body becomesLimagain. Because the human body is made up of billions of living cells, death nearly always occurs in stages.
As the heart stops beating and the blood stops circulating, cells in all parts of the body die. Cells cannot livewithout oxygen and the food that the blood supplies. The time of dying can be measured in minutes, hours oreven days.
