Stated in Part XX of the Indian Constitution, Article 368 grants power to the Parliament to amend the Constitution and also asserts the procedure that needs to be followed in order to amend the Constitution.
As of now, there are 448 articles in 25 parts, 103 amendments , 5 appendices, and 12 schedules are there in the Indian Constitution.
When it was first made, it had 395 articles in 22 parts and 8 schedules in it, thus being the world’s lengthiest written constitution.
