Certain type of Ultraviolet Relation, Infrared Radiation can produce an injury to the surface and Mucous Membrane (Conjuctiva) of the eye called "arc eye", "welders eye" or "arc flash". These name are common name for "conjunctivitis" an inflammation of the Mucous membrane of the front of the eye.
