DPC is a cement concrete mixture along with addition of water proofing compound. It is done at bottom level of wall to prevent seepage.
Shaded area is the portion where DPC is to be done. Its area can be found by using centre line method.Area of DPC = [(Centre line) × wall thickness] – [Door area] Total centre line = 4.25 × 2 + 3.25 × 2 = 15 m Quantity of DPC = 15 × .25 – 1.5 × 0.25 ∴ Quantity of DPC =3.375m2 with 2.5 cm thick
