The ozone layer is found in the 2 nd layer of the atmosphere that is Stratosphere. This layer is located at the height of 15 to 35km. It protects earths from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the Sun. The ozone layer was discovered in 1913 by the French physicists Charles Fabry and Henri Buisson.
