Global Innovation Index (GII) is released jointly by Cornell University, INSEAD and World Intellectual Property Organisation. The Gll is a ranking of countries as per their success and capacity in innovation. Switzerland is the world's most innovative economy followed by Sweden, the USA while India ranked at 48th in Gll 2020 .
