Gibberellin promotes stem elongation as well as motivates the seeds to be sprout. It increases the activity of cambium in the wooden plants and also helps in breaking the dormancy of the plant. Abscisic acid or ABA is against the growth and keeps the seeds and bud in the dormant condition. Ethylene hormone helps in ripening fruits.
