(2) Gopal Ganesh Agarkar, asocial reformer from Maharashtra,started his own periodical Sudharak (reformer) in 1888 to campaign against untouchability and the caste system.Earlier, he and Tilak started the English newspaper Maratha and the Marathi newspaper Kesari in 1881.
