(4) Assam's Orang national park, also known as 'mini Kaziranga',in March 2016, became the 49th tiger reserve in the country, with the state government issuing a notification to this effect. The environment ministry also gave the nod for three more reserves at Ratapani (MP), Sunabeda (Odisha)and Guru Ghasidas(Chhattisgarh).
