(2) The Sangam Yojana, declared on August, 1996, is one of the various plans related to social welfare. Under it, handicapped people living in the rural areas are organised in a group. Every organised group named ‘Sangam’ is given an assistance of ₹ 15,000 for performing their economic activities.
