The Thorn Forests and Scrubs are found in regions where the rainfall is less than 70cm. Rajasthan is an arid area which receives less rainfall. As there is high temperature, the loss of moisture is also high. As a result, trees have needle-shaped thorns to prevent loss of moisture.
