The World Index of Economic Freedom covers 12 freedoms including Rule of Law- property rights, government integrity, judicial effectiveness; Government Size- government spending, tax burden, fiscal health; Regulatory Efficiency- business freedom, labour freedom, monetary freedom; Open Markets- trade freedom, investment freedom, financial freedom
Because of the lack of sufficient reliable data, six countries (Iraq, Libya, Liechtenstein, Somalia, Syria, and Yemen) are evaluated and partially graded but not ranked.
