The Government of Rajasthan has made the film 'Chhapak' tax-free in the state based on the story Laxmi Agarwal (Acid Attack Survivor).
As per the order issued by the Finance Department on January 10, 2020, the film has been exempted from SGST. This order will be effective for six months.
Chhapaak is a 2020 Indian a Hindi-language drama film directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Deepika Padukone and Meghna Gulzar in collaboration with Fox Star Studios. Deepika Padukone played the role of Lakshmi Agarwal in this film.
