The following are the qualifications required to become a Supreme Court Judge in India:
Should be a citizen of India
Should have been a High Court Judge for a period of at least 5 years
Should have been an advocate at the High Court or two or more courts in succession for a period of at least 10 years.
The SC Judges do not have any specific age for the appointment but they can continue to be in office till the age of 65 years. He or she can be removed by thePresident only on the grounds of misbehaviour and incapacity.
