History famous Delhi Darbar was organized in 1903 AD by the British Viceroy Lord Curzon. In order to prevent Maharana Fateh Singh of Mewar from joining this Darbar, Kesari Singh wrote a few eloquent Soraths called 'Chetawani Ra Chunghtya' and addressed him.
Maharana Fateh Singh did not attend Delhi Darbar after reading the Soraths of 'Chetawani Ra Chunghtya' and came back to Udaipur.
This unexpected conduct of Maharana created a sensation among the British rulers and a new wave of nationalism among patriotic freedom fighters.
