According to ILO, any work is done by children within the age of 5- 17 years that’s detrimental to their social, mental, physical and educational development is classified as child labour.
As the World Day Against Child Labor is marked on 12 June, it’s encouraging to note that child labour has been on the decline globally.
The World Day Against Child Labor is a sanctioned holiday initiated in 2002 by the International Labor Organization to raise awareness about child labour and to encourage people to not send children to work.
