Section 43 of the POCSO Act, restricts upon both the central and state governments to take all the necessary steps for generating awareness among people about the provisions of this act.
The awareness drive must focus on schools and other institutions teaching children to make them understand about their safety.
The act also makes a provision for giving it wide publicity so that the general public is aware of the offences and punishment associated with it.
