Zawar is a settlement located in Udaipur district, Rajasthan. It is approximately 40 km from the lake city Udaipur.
It consists of four mines namely Mochia, Balaria, Zawar Mala, and Baroi with an average zinc-lead reserve grade of 4.6%.
Zawar mines produced 3.3 million MT of ore in the Financial Year 2020. It has a reserve of 14.2 million MT and a mineral resource base of 82.2 million MT as of March 31, 2020.
