(b) Firoz Shah Tughlaq founded Jaunpur. Fatehabad,Hissar, Salura, Firozpur, etc. Two hundred towns apparently include those villages abandoned by the people which were repopulated during Firoz’s reign due to the increased facilities provided by the state.
