(d) The Nobel prize is a set of an international awardsbestowed in a number of categories which is given annually to the winners by Swedish and Norwegian Committees in recognition of cultural and/or scientific advances. It was the will of the Swedish inventor Alfred Nobel that established the Nobel prizes in 1895 in Sweden.
