When ethanol (A) i.e. organic compound reacts with cone H2O4, it forms ethene (B) along with water. And when ethanol (A) reacts with alk.KMnO4, it will get oxidised to ethanoic acid (C). Ethanol reacts with ethanoic acid to form an ester called ethyl ethanoate (D), which gives a fruity smell.
