* A weighs twice as much as B

* B weighs four and half times as much as C

* C weighs half as much as D

* D weighs half as much as E

* E weighs less than A but more than C

Solution:

According to the question.

A= 2B........(i)

B=4.5 C.....(ii)

C=\frac{1}{2}D

......(iii)

D=\frac{1}{2}E

......(iv)

A > E > C....(v)

Combining all the equations,A > B > E > D > C
