This is a logical filtering question in which we need to select a student satisfying three conditions: short height, Jharkhand origin, and wearing a cap.

Explanation:

P and Q belong to Bihar, so the remaining students L, M, N and O belong to Jharkhand.

Among all six, N and L are tall; therefore the short students are M, O, P and Q.

Combining the conditions "short" and "Jharkhand", we discard P and Q because they are from Bihar.

Hence the only short students from Jharkhand are M and O.

Now consider the wearing habit: Q, O and N wear jeans, while L, M and P wear caps.

Since O wears jeans, O cannot be the cap wearer.

Thus the only student who is short, belongs to Jharkhand, and wears a cap is M.
