The theme of 13 th Conference of the parties to the Convention on the Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS CoP) which was held from 15 th to 22 nd February at Gandhinagar, Gujarat was "Migratory species connect the planet and together we welcome them home". Its mascot was 'Gibi - The Great Indian Bustard'. This convention provided a global platform for the conservation and sustainable use of migratory animals and their habitats and brings together the States through which migratory animals pass.
