Greater Chennai Corporation has been adjudged as best megacity in terms of innovation and best practices in Swachh Survekshan, 2020 . It was awarded in cities above 40 lakh population. The Nagar Nigam Ludhiana, Punjab was best city in innovation and best practices (10 -40 lakh population). At national level Indore was again adjudged as cleanest city in the country.
