Siachen glacier has been made open for tourism since 21 st October, 2019 by Government of India. The construction of 'Colonel Chewang Rinchen Bridge' which was recently inaugurated on Shyok river will provide connectivity to tourist in eastern Ladakh where Siachen glacier is located.
