Solution:

Then,

(a) He bought a movies ticket for 1 /5 th of allowance

\frac{1}{5} \times 100

= ₹20

(b) Then, he bought a slice of pizza for 1/4 th of remaining allowance

\frac{1}{4} \times (100-20) = \frac{1}{4} \times 80

=₹20

Clearly, A = B
