Ravish Kumar won the 2019 Ramon Magsaysay Award for harnessing journalism to give voice to voiceless. He is an Indian Journalist of NDTV news channel. Ramon Magsaysay Award is considered Asia's Nobel Prize and was established in 1957. Them award is named after former President of Philippine, Ramon Magsaysay. In 2018 , it was awarded to two Indians-Bharat Vatwani and Sonam Wangchuk.
