President Ram Nath Kovind has inaugurated a bronze bust of Mahatma Gandhi in October 2019 at Villeneuve, Switzerland. The event marked the 150 th anniversary of the Mahatma. Gandhiji visited Villeneuve in 1931 at the invitation of Nosel. Laureate Romain Rolland.
