⇒ 2x - y = 40 ................(i)
According to the second condition,
40 + x + y + 60 = 100 x 3
⇒ x + y = 200 .............(ii)
Adding both the Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get
3x = 240
⇒ x = 80
y = 200 - 80 = 120
Hence, required ratio = x : y = 80 : 120
= 2 :3
