(a) K Sivan, Director of the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre has become the new Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Sivan contributed immensely to the development of PSLV and GSLV rockets. He replaced current ISRO Chief AS Kiran Kumar and will have a tenure of three years.
