Solution:

The wave velocity is

For the first wave, we have the wave velocity

\frac{100\pi}{0.5\pi}

= 200 m/s

For the second wave, we have the wave velocity

v_2

\frac{92\pi}{0.46\pi}

= 200 m/s.

Therefore,

v_1

v_2

= 200 m/s.
