Punishment : the infliction or imposition of a penalty as retribution for an offence. Immunity : the ability of an organism to resist a particular infection or toxin by the action of specific antibodies or sensitized white blood cells. Acquittal : a judgement or verdict that a person is not guilty of the crime with which they have been charged.
