Liability : the state of being legally responsible for something. Assumption : a thing that is accepted as true or as certain to happen, without proof. Exemption : the action of freeing or state of being free from an obligation or liability imposed on others. Consumption : the action of using up a resource. Presumption : an idea that is taken to be true on the basis of probability.
