f(128) = 1 \cdot 2^{2} + 2 \cdot 2^{1} + 8 \cdot 2^{0}

= 4 + 4 + 8 = 16

∴

f(16) = 1 \cdot 2^{1} + 6 \cdot 2^{0} = 2 + 6 = 8
