Chemically chromosome consist of DNA (31\%), RNA (5\%), histone protein (36\%) and non-histone protein (28%). However, chromosome are considered nucleo protein in hereditary structure, which are formed by condensation of chromatin fibre or equitable distribution during reproduction or cell division.
