Wavell was not the member of the Cabinet Mission. Members of the Cabinet Mission includes Sir Stafford Cripps, A.V. Alexander and Lord Pethick Lawrence. The Cabinet mission was a British government delegation and called upon to negotiate with India's leaders on a method of framing a constitution for an independent India.
