Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel (31 October 1875 – 15 December 1950):
He was popularly known as Sardar Patel.
He was an Indian politician.
He served as the First Deputy Prime Minister of India.
He acted as Home Minister during the political integration of India and the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947.
After the success of the oil Satyagraha movement, the women of Bardoli given this title to Sardar Patel.
The present-day all-India administrative services owe their origin to Sardar Patel's sagacity and thus he is regarded as the father of modern Indian services.
