Let total passengers be x

\Rightarrow x \times \left(1 - \frac{1}{5}\right) \times \left(1 - \frac{1}{2}\right) \times \left(1 - \frac{3}{10}\right) = 4200

⇒ x = 15000

It is given that 25% of total passengers opt to travel by foot

So, total passengers opt to travel by foot = 25% of 15000

⇒ 3750 people.

∴ The number of passengers who opt to travel by foot is 3750 people.
