You have three resistors of values 2Ω,3Ω2 Ω, 3 Ω and 5Ω5 Ω. How will you join them so that the total resistance is more than 7Ω7 Ω ?

Calculate the equivalent resistance.
Solution:  
  ∵    Rs=R1+R2+R3\; \because \; \; R_s = R_1 + R_2 + R_3
  ∴    Req=2+3+5\; \therefore \; \; R_{eq} = 2 + 3 + 5
  =10Ω  .   \;=10 \Omega \; \text{. } \;
