Solution:  
Given,
Order of the square matrix, n=3n=3
∣A∣=4|A|=4
∣−2A∣=(−2)n∣A∣|-2A|=(-2)^n|A|
∣−2A∣=(−2)3×4|-2A|=(-2)^3 \times 4
∣−2A∣=−32|-2A|=-32
Therefore, the value of ∣−2A∣|-2A| is -32 .
