Three effects of print culture on the French Revolution:
(i) Due to the spread of print culture, the information regarding the political and social situations of French society started reaching the masses which made them aware of their rights and also the shortcomings of the society.
(ii) The thoughts of political philosophers like Voltaire and Rousseau and their ideas of liberty and freedom spread to the French society which instigated ideas of the right to life and liberty among the French citizens.
(iii) The intellectual middle classes used print media to gather the support of the peasant classes and other weaker sections of society and were successful in their endeavour.
