Deccan Agriculturalists’ Relief Act of 1879 was for the relief of Indebted Agriculturalists in certain parts of the Deccan. In 1879, the Agriculturalists’ Relief Act was passed to ensure that the farmers could not be arrested and imprisoned if they were unable to pay their debts.
